This blog was launched yesterday, Oct 1, 2020, with the idea of making it the voice of a group of like-minded people. Since the launch, the perspective of the group has changed.
We, members of ARCWP, are used to controversy, because what we do is, in itself, controversial. However, the work that we do for the marginalized continues to be the focus of our individual ministries.
This blog is one of my ministries. It is geared to social activism and social justice activities. But rather than representing the viewpoint of an organization, it is solely my viewpoint on social justice matters. I will post events and material others may send to me, but opinions expressed will be mine alone.
I look to be a voice for the marginalized, as our faith demands that we be. The “voice of one crying in the wilderness”, as Isaiah wrote.
As I sit here looking at the face of a President raging against his fellow Americans, with the sound turned off, I am pretty sure my next post will be about our country and its current situation. I will post again later today.
